...that I would be asking a question about one of my favorite things- COTTON!
One of my friends has her 2nd wedding anniversary coming up, and she wants to go the traditional route and get something for her husband that is made of cotton. I told her I would ask all of my blogging friends for good ideas because y'all are always full of them!!
Ladies- if you've given your husband a 2nd anniversary gift made of cotton what have you given? Or, if you haven't, but can think of a great, meaningful gift that is made out of cotton, throw out those ideas as well.
Thanks!!
Hey girl! You won my pink and green memo board giveaway! Email me (address on my blog) your initials and info so I can get it sent to you sometime this week!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a great week!
I wanted to give my husband a hammock for our 2nd anniversary. Instead we went to Mexico and I told him his gift was the beacj towel :)
ReplyDeleteIf you are super ambitious- you could make a t shirt quilt (or have one made) of t-shirts that are special for the two of them.
ReplyDeleteMy sister-in-law gave my brother a basketball jersey from his favorite player...autographed. He about died with excitement.
ReplyDeleteI have been thinking about this too. We're doing the traditional gifts...and while we aren't even at year one paper is easy...cotton? a bit harder for a guy.
I can't wait to see all of the responses!
I was traditional up until our 3rd anniversary :-) For our 2nd one, I got my husband a Brooks Brothers dress shirt. He absolutely loves it, and it still looks great 2 1/2 years later!
ReplyDeleteGave you an award. Go check it out.
ReplyDeleteI thought I wrote this already, but my comment didn't save. I would needlepoint him a belt using cotton dmc thread. can make it personal and needlepoint whatever his hobbies are, but his monogram on it, and sign yours and the date you made it! now i just need to finish the one i started for my boyfriend 3 years ago...
ReplyDeleteEveryone else is so creative! I bought a set of 1000 thread count sheets....but he loved them! Hope you get some great ideas!
ReplyDeleteI left you something on my blog! :)
ReplyDeleteI also go the traditional route. I ordered John a set of Egyptian cotton sheets - from Egypt! Needless to say, they were a bit late in arriving, even though I ordered them two months in advance. They are fabulous!
