On Wednesday, right after writing the post on cutting back on sugar, I went to lunch with my dad. And guess what he brought me? A bag my mom sent to me of my favorite candies- Heath bar, Kit Kats, and Skittles. That bag sat on my desk for the rest of the afternoon Wednesday, and then I took it home, where it sat until this morning, untouched. This morning WEG decided he would take full advantage of my sugar cut-back, and picked up the bag to carry to work.
Willpower is a bitch.
Girl I do the same thing. I will get a chocolate craving and end up buying something from the vending machine. Then it will sit in front of me for days before I give it away. The guilt of purchasing it is enough to torture me let alone what I would feel like if I ate it. Good for you though!!! XOXO
ReplyDeleteGood for you. I have to avoid things to help with my willpower. :)
ReplyDeleteAgreed! Good for you though, I wish I had that kind of willpower.
ReplyDeleteHoly crap. I am so impressed! I turned down a cupcake at work the other day...and then today they brought in more! Saying no to a cupcake twice in one week is not fun lady. Not fun.
ReplyDeleteWow- I do not have that kind of willpower. I am more of the school of thought that if it's a gift or free, it's therefore calorie free. Hmmmpph.
ReplyDeleteDang...you are awesome & determined!
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you had super powers!
ReplyDeleteYou're a much better woman that I am! I would have been ALL over that!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! It is so hard for me to resist temptations like that, but it CAN be done!!
ReplyDeleteGahhh you are clearly a better woman than I am!!!
ReplyDeletehaha hang in there girl!
ReplyDeleteI could neverrrrr give up sugar!
ReplyDeleteGood for you, though! Your willpower is incredible!
