Spring spheres?!

Spring Spheres instead of Easter Eggs

Did any of you hear about this?  I heard this story on my local radio station this morning.  A teacher in Seattle asked that Easter eggs instead be called "Spring Spheres" in order to be politically correct and not indoctrinate students with a certain set of religious beliefs.

What is this world coming to?  I'm amazed.

  1. Easter Eggs are Easter Eggs regardless of religious affiliation. I mean, really, who would make Spring Spheres. Ridiculous.

  4. Lol @ Gracie's comment.

I read the original article about this and was pleased that the author notes that once the "Spring Spheres" were actually presented to the kids, they all referred to them as Easter Eggs. That made me so happy! ;)
